Earth Treasures boasts a State-of-the-Art Jewelers Workshop on the premises. Here our highly accredited staff of technicians, including a Jewelers of America Certified Master Bench Jeweler, J.A. Senior Bench Jeweler and J.A. Bench Jeweler, will repair your jewelry with the utmost care and precision. Each piece that comes in for repair is weighed on a state certified scale and described in detail for identification purposes.
As an extra identification measure, any jewelry that comes in for repair containing a 1/3ct or larger diamond is “plotted” for your peace of mind. At the time you drop off the piece for repair, one of our graduate gemologists will make a “plot” (a diagram of the internal and external characteristics) of the diamond and then, using a 10x microscope, show the diamond to you! Most people have never seen their diamond under magnification and are fascinated by the process. You will verify that it’s the same diamond when the repair is complete. Since no two diamonds are exactly alike, the plot is your reassurance that you are receiving back the same diamond that you left us!
Repairs that we do on an everyday basis include:
• Chain solders
• Ring sizings
• Stone setting
• Complete restoration
• Catch replacement
• Retipping and replacing prongs
• Pearl stringing
If your delicate or intricate repair cannot be accomplished using conventional torch soldering, we will proudly enable advanced laser technology to complete the job. Laser welding will be employed when pinpoint accuracy and localized heat are warranted. When the repair has been finished, your jewelry takes a trip to our polishing room for finishing touches, such as applying a high polished, stone or satin finish, sandblasting, and rhodium plating. The last step in the repair process is an examination by our Quality Control Department, where discriminating eyes ensure the best possible result.

Most types of repairs come with our one year warranty! If the repair does not hold for one year, we will fix it at no charge. Examples of instances where the repair cannot be guaranteed are glued, enameled or plated items, or loss of any stone that is 1/2ct or larger or is held in by less than 4 prongs.
Since our workshop is located on our premises, we are able to offer - at a nomimal extra charge - an "express service" for repairs needed the same day! Please call ahead to make sure we can accommodate your rush job on a particular day.
