Estate jewelry as defined by us is any previously owned and worn jewelry. It
includes antique, classic, and contemporary styles all carefully inspected,
cleaned, and if necessary, restored to nice wearable condition. Nearly all of
our estate jewelry is priced about 50% less than its appraised value (retail
replacement value). We offer a 60-day warranty on all estate items unless
otherwise stated. We are active buyers of estates and previously-owned jewelry
and our stock is continually changing. Although we update our site daily, many
items sell in our store before we can list them here. If you are looking for
anything special, don't hesitate to e-mail or call us.
Rings:
Estate rings are available in 10, 14, 18k, platinum, and occasionally sterling
silver. Where possible, we will indicate when items are period pieces with
circa dates, the cut of diamonds, quality and approximate carat weight, as well
as the overall condition. To view our selection of un-mounted old cut diamonds,
refer to our loose estate diamond category below.
Rings you will typically find in our estate division include:
-
Tiffany and other brand names
-
Antique styles: Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Deco, and Retro
-
Diamond bands and engagement styles complete with all diamonds
-
Contemporary styles in white or yellow gold
-
Colored gemstone rings of all types
-
One-of-a-kind custom rings
Watches:
Estate watches are available in gold, platinum, silver, gold-filled, and plated.
The selection varies week to week but many desirable items sell quickly and, of
course, once they're gone replacements may never be found. We offer warranties
with many watches ranging from 60 days to one year depending on the model and
price. Due to prohibitive labor costs, inexpensive watches may be offered
without warranties or at additional cost.
Watches you will typically find in our estate division include:
-
Used Rolex
-
Tag Heuer, Cartier, Omega, Brietling, Baume Mercier, Vacheron, and I.W.C.
-
Ladies gold fashion watches with and without diamonds
-
Retro watches from 1930-1950
-
Antique pocket and pendant watches including high jewel railroad models
Other Jewelry:
Other estate jewelry encompasses a large group and should not be overlooked by
the savvy bargain hunter. Prices are exceptionally low, confirmed by the
sizable number of dealers who buy from us.
Other items you will typically find in our estate division include:
-
Cameos and brooches
-
Pendants and necklaces
-
Diamond and gemstone earrings
-
Diamond and gemstone bracelets
-
Plain gold and platinum items
-
Coins, bullion, paper money, and collectibles
Old Miner & Old European cut diamonds:
Many people, especially antique jewelry lovers, prefer the unusual look of old
cut diamonds. Such diamonds frequently exhibit more fire and color flashes than
modern cut diamonds. However, because this style of cutting is obsolete and
many old cut diamonds have been recut to modern specs, the availability of old
cut diamonds is very limited. Proper restoration of antique jewelry with
missing diamonds requires authentic replacements.
We stock a nice selection of rose cuts, old mine cuts, and old European cut
diamonds that can be used for restorations or custom needs. Sizes range from
.005ct to 2.00ct with occasionally larger sizes available. Below are some
approximate price ranges for typical sizes based on quality. Feel free to
contact us for specific needs.
-
.01ct = $4-$8
-
.10ct = $40-$100
-
.25ct = $100-$350
-
.50ct = $200-$1200
-
1.00ct = $1500-$5000
-
Repair lot mixed sizes and qualities = $800 per carat
